TIME AND ATTENDANCE
 Time and attendance systems can provide employers with faster and more accurate time reporting. These systems give managers better control of their daily and weekly labor costs while reducing clerical costs with the elimination of time sheet tabulation.
A feature of DM Payroll Services payroll system is our ability to interface with your time clock system - and the elimination of a lot of work on your end. We’ve set up arrangements with several time-clock vendors to provide this service. Vendors such as Kronos®, Stromberg®, Cincinnati Time®, Simplex® and Time America® - just to name a few.
During the set up phase, your time clocks are connected to a PC at your site, where each employee clocks in and out with an encoded identification badge using either bar code or magnetic stripe technology. Your time clock system will collect the data which can include the date, time, department and cost center data for employee transactions (punch). The system applies user defined employment rules to the data and calculates it for payroll processing. Most systems have the capability to automatically transfer payroll data into DM Payroll Services payroll system.
The interface means no more manual entry of time and attendance data. Entries are double-checked against control totals to ensure accuracy.
Not only can DM Payroll Services interface with any time clock company that offers an ASCII data file interface, we can also upload any time and attendance information your company may already be collecting. This would include time and attendance information that you are collecting in any Lotus or Excel spreadsheet as well as any database environment.
