Many employers are aware that the current Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I-9) expired on August 31, 2019. However, since the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) still has yet to announce a release date for the new Form I-9, employers should continue using the current form until the new version is released.
